LOGAN, Daniel Rudolph “Rudy”, age 69 formerly of Pinson, AL, passed away on Friday, July 8, 2016 in Gulf Shores, AL. Rudy was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and brother. He was retired from American Aluminum in Birmingham. He loved being with his family, fishing in the gulf, and his pick-up truck. Mr. Logan was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Phelicia Ann Johnson Logan; a son, Daniel Logan; a daughter, Cynthia Logan; his parents, Edward and Bernice Logan; and a sister, Betty Marsh (Gene); and a brother, Herman Gaither.
He is survived by his children, Kim Fuller (Rod), Mary Jones (Rodney), Angela Gooch (Glen) and Patrick Logan; brothers, Edward “Junior” Logan and Donald Logan; his sisters, Carol McCombs (Larry) and Patsy Cobb (Ray); 10 grandchildren;18 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Monday evening from 5 until 8 PM at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel with a chapel funeral service on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 beginning at 10 AM. Burial will follow in Hopewell Cemetery in Pinson.
