I am so sorry for your loss. I know how much he meant to you Darlene and I’m so glad you have his favorite seat in your home. You will have precious memories to help you through such a difficult time. Prayers are going up for you and your family. He had such a beautiful smile shown on his photo. I’m sure he is smiling real big right now seeing family members and our precious Jesus.

Darlene & Terri words cannot tell how sorry i am for the loss of your dad.
Also sympathy to all the family.
He was truly a man to be proud of. He walked the walk & talked the talk in Jesus footprints. Always put others before himself. Loved his family & those precious grands & greatgrands. Life will be void without him but remember he's with the love of his life, "your mom" & you can see him again one day. He'll still be near you-he just stepped into another room to rest.
I love all of you & pray daily for peace & comfort as you travel this journey without him.

David, showed sacrificial love in caring for his wife in her last days. Watching him lift her in his arms out of a wheelchair to load her in their auto. It was very very difficult but he remained a good example for others to emulate. I loved David & Vivian, but it is easy to love those, that love you. I will try to care his goodwill forward , and be a better listener like him. David, you influenced me for the better in so many ways.

I’m proud to call him Uncle. The memory that comes to mind, is his favorite song he requested when we often had the family jam sessions. He always wanted Darlene to sing Grandma’s Feather Bed. And the love he had for his family.
Thinking of his family in this sad time and knowing the rejoicing that’s happening in heaven. We will meet again ♥️

I was blessed to have had some time with this wonderful man...knowing that my folks already loved him, went to school together, and he married my Mom's good friend...I was happy to get to know him more..we had some great laughs and good times, and I will always cherish those..He left such a beautiful family and they in turn are having beautiful families that are having families..best he could have done with his time on earth! I love you Mr. David, and am glad to know you are at peace
