Donald Jerry Hodges of Morris, AL passed away on Wednesday, May 27 at the age of 72. He was retired from the Birmingham Police Department. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Issac Hodges and Mary Elizabeth Hodges.Donald is survived by his wife of 19 years, Patricia Hodges; a daughter, Mary Margaret Hodges; his sons, Donald Jerry Hodges, Jr. and Chris Fraser; granddaughter, Layla Hassan; and his grandson, Justin Salser.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel at 2 PM with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Glenwood Baptist Cemetery.
