Donald Ray Hyde, age 35, of Warrior, AL, was born on November 3, 1980 and passed away on December 22, 2015 at Princeton Baptist Medical Center. He graduated from Tarrant City High School in 1999. Donald was currently employed as a certified Master Technician at Hendricks Chevrolet in Hoover. He also worked at Edwards Chevrolet for 18 years and he was an Instructor at Lawson State and served as a volunteer Deputy with the Jefferson County Sheriff Dept.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather he loved so dear, Virgil Hyde. He is survived by his beloved fiancée, Whitney Lane; mother, Kathy Hyde; grandmother, Lorene Hyde; aunts, Wanda Sue Smith, Terri Cassady, Julie Jones and Annette Swann (Matt); cousins, Sunday Dawn Smith, P.J. Cassady, Dava Howard, Eric Howard, Taragene Jones, Scott Swann, Michael Swann, and Daniel Swann as well as a host friends.
Services will be held at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel on Saturday, Dec 26th, 2015 with a visitation to begin at 2:00pm; a funeral service at 3:00pm followed by his burial in Oakwood Memorial Gardens.
