Donna F. Large, age 74 of Pleasant Grove passed away Monday, July 1, 2013. She is survived by her loving family, her husband of 46 years, Emmett M. Large; three daughters, Deborah L. Vickery (Robert) of Moody, Denise L. Burton (Hugh) of Warrior, and Amy L. Waine (Barry) of Birmingham; grandchildren, Matthew T. Waine, Sarah C. Waine, Richard G. Burton, and Kyle R. Burton; her sister-in-law, Gloria Gragg. Donna and Emmett lived in the Pleasant Grove community for over 37 years and were members of the First Baptist of Pleasant Grove. She was employed with Pullman Industries and the Southern Research Institute for many years.
Funeral services will be held Friday, July 5th at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel at 11 AM with visitation from 9 until service time. Interment will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
