Edwina T Tidwell

Edwina was born on July 9th, 1938 in Alabama to Gurley Edmon and Eloise Tillery. On December 24th, 1956 she married Bertram Tidwell. They raised 4 children together Cheryl, Anita, Paul and Duane.

Edwina is preceded in death by her husband Bertram Tidwell; her parents Gurley Edmon and Eloise Tillery; siblings Ronnie Tillery and Bobbye Hopkins; son-in-law’s Billy Goff and Donnie McLeroy. She is survived by her children Cheryl McLeroy, Anita Goff, Paul Tidwell, and Duane Tidwell; daughter-in-law Barbara Tidwell; siblings Patricia Runco, Clarence Tillery (Linda) and April Bevis; special nephew Lonnie Tidwell (Linda); grandchildren Joseph McLeroy (Beth), Billy Goff III, Brandy Goff, Eric McLeroy (Ashley), Josh Tidwell (Niki), Austin Goff (Deanna), Amber Helms (Cody), Breanna Matthews and 17 great grandchildren.

Edwina lived in Morris, AL and had been a resident at North Hill Rehab and Nursing. The family would like to thank everyone at North Hill for the loving care that they showed our Mother and Granny for the last 2 years.

A visitation for Edwina will be held Tuesday, March 8, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Ridout's Chapel in Gardendale, AL. Following the visitation will be a graveside service at 11:00 AM at Oakwood Memorial Gardens in Gardendale, AL.
