Elizabeth M. Hicks

Elizabeth was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother and she devoted her life to taking loving care of her family and friends. She will be greatly missed.

Elizabeth is survived by; two sons Kenneth W. Hicks, Jr. (Rhonda) and Jackson Dwight Smith (Mary); two daughters Deborah Neckopulos and Patricia Hicks; three brothers W.D. Alley (Diane), Jimmy Alley (Nancy), and Noble Alley; one sister Sherry Wellborn; nine grandchildren, Sherri Warren, Marci Smith, C.J. Smith, D.J. Smith, Jennifer Sullivan, Shawn Arthur, Cody Hicks, Amanda Hicks, and Rocky Hicks; several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Kenneth W. Hicks, Sr.; her parents, Violet Alley and Noble Alley; two sons Noble "Danny" Smith and Eddie Hicks; daughter Judy Jacobs, sister Norma Dean Alley, and one granddaughter, Jacki Arthur.

A visitation for Elizabeth will be held Wednesday, May 1, 2019 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, AL 35071, followed by a funeral service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
