Glenda Frances Burnam

Glenda Frances Burnam of Hayden, Alabama went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 03, 2024 at the age of 79. Born April 16, 1945, Glenda was the youngest daughter of Audie and Leona Williams (predeceased) of Pearson, Georgia.

A homemaker who dedicated her life to her family and friends. Glenda always loved and was so proud of her children, in-laws, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved tending to her yard and flowers. Glenda was a Christian who loved the Lord Jesus.

Glenda was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Waverly Burnam, brother Reverend Charles (Regina) Williams, and great granddaughter Emma Jane Green. She is survived by: son James (Stephanie) Burnam; daughter Tammy (Dale) Green; four grandchildren Matthew (Jessica) Green, Justin (Shelby) Green, Taylor Hood (Justin), and Jamie Burnam; four great-grandchildren Joanna Mae Green, Carson Green, Brynlee Green, and Levi Green; sister Barbara Hamilton; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 06, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel in Gardendale, AL. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 AM in the chapel. A private burial will follow. Reverend Joel Johnson officiating.

Pallbearers: James Burnam, Jamie Burnam, Dale Green, Matthew Green, Justin Green, and James Witherspoon.
