Pearling was a long time member of First Baptist Church Mount Olive. She was a Kindergarten and Day Care teacher for many years.
Pearline lost her lifetime love, Ralph T. Burks on November 17, 1981 and her daughter, R. Dawn Burks on September 23, 2011; and her great-granddaughter, Alexis Pearl Burks on August 7, 2014.
Pearline is survived by two sons, Bruce (Joy) Burks and Stephen (Michelle) Burks; one brother, John Robert Gass of Cowan, Tennessee; four grandsons; one granddaughter; four great-grandsons; four great-granddaughters and one great-great granddaughter and they all loved their Nanny very much.
A visitation for Helen will be held Monday, July 7, 2025 at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, Alabama from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, July 8, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel followed by her burial in Oakwood Memorial Gardens, Gardendale, Alabama.
