Henry Franklin “Frankie” Rogers, age 66 of Gardendale, AL passed away on Sunday, August 27, 2017. Frankie was a wonderful and loving husband, father, and grandfather who was very much loved and will be greatly missed. He was a man of many talents. Always very stubborn, but also one of the most giving. He always put the need of others before his own even if he had to go out of his way to do so. His favorite enjoyment was fishing with his best friend Randy Davison and being a punching bag for his granddaughter, Faith. He also loved listening to granddaughter’s Hope’s music. He was preceded in death by his parents, Malcom and Jewel Rogers. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Susan Rogers; his daughter, Nan Hughes and her husband Theo Scott Hughes, whom he enjoyed arguing with; brothers, Bobby, Allen, Buster, Chuck, Chris, Kenneth, and Terry; a sister, Karen Owen; and his pride and joy granddaughters, Hope and Faith Hughes.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 31st, at 11 AM in Friendship Community Cemetery off Old Highway 31 in Gardendale, AL.
