Dr. Jalaine Cosby Brzytwa

Dr. Jalaine Cosby Brzytwa of Priceville, AL, was born on August 6, 1972 and passed away peacefully on April 19, 2017 at the age of 44. Jalaine graduated High School from Shades Valley Resource Learning Center in 1989. Graduated in 1993 from University of Alabama in Birmingham with a BS in Biology and Graduated from Southern College of Optometry in 1998. Jalaine practiced as a Doctor of Optometry in South Carolina and in Alabama.

Jalaine was preceded in death by her grandfather, James Harold Hunter. She is survived by her loving husband of 19 years, Dr. Steve Brzytwa; her parents, James and Elaine Cosby; father and mother-in-law, Tad and Carole Brzytwa; a son, Michael Brzytwa; a daughter, Bonnie Rachel Brzytwa; brother, Johnny Cosby (Molly); grandmother, Louise Hunter; nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

The family will receive friends at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel on Saturday, April 22, 2017 beginning at 11:30 am with a graveside service at 1:00pm in Oakwood Memorial Gardens, Gardendale, AL.
