James Coffman

James Coffman, age 51, of Hayden, Alabama passed away on Sunday January 27, 2019. James was born August 31, 1967. He was employed for several years at SBS in Hueytown where he loved his work and his work family very much. James loved NASCAR and was an avid Alabama Crimson Tide Football fan. He leaves behind his loving wife of 14 years Christie Coffman, his precious daughters Emma Rose Coffman and Jamie Lynn Couch, his granddaughters Madison and Kennedy McCray, his parents Edward and Jeanie Hopkins, two brothers David Coffman and Edward Hopkins (Heather), three sisters Sheila Van Horn (Chris) and Sara Ellis (Jason) and Patricia Hopkins, 12 nieces and nephews, loving in-laws and sister-in-laws and a host of friends. James wife and child were his world and he loved all his family and friends more than words could ever describe. He will truly be missed by all who knew him.

A celebration of life visitation for James will be held Sunday, February 3, 2019 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, AL 35071. A celebration of life memorial will occur Sunday, February 3, 2019 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, AL 35071.
