James Richard Edwards, Jr. age 70 of Hayden passed away at his home on April 8, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Rachel Edwards. Richard worked at CSX Railroad for 30 years and is a graduate of Tarrant high School. He is survived by his wife of 51 years Sherry and his children, Wade “Butch” (Cyndi), Scott (Edna), Chris (Amanda), and Cheryl (Hugh). Twelve grandchildren, Brian (Colette), Hannah (Coleman), Jessica (Ian), Adam (Hannah), Daniel, Tyler (Stormie), Harrison (Erin), Kristalyn, Noah, McKayla, Macon, and Briar; two great grandsons, Samuel and Jonathan; and one great granddaughter, Quinn due in August; a sister, Betty Cannon (Leonard); his railroad buddies, Frank and Philip and of course his Kritters.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel from 11 until 12 noon followed by graveside services at 12 noon in Oakwood Memorial Gardens.
