James Marion Moode, age 87 of Gardendale passed away Friday, August 06, 2010. Jim was an active minister of the Gideon’s International and a member of River of Life United Pentecostal Church in Gardendale. He had many friends, and worked part time delivering pharmacy for CVS. His passion was spreading the gospel through Gideon Bibles and sharing the Word of God with his church, family and friends. Survivors include his daughter, Juanita Moode Tidmore (John); sons: Richard Davis (Dollene), Stephen Moode (Amy) and David Moode; grandchildren: James Tidmore (Crystal), Kaleb Moode, Zachary Moode and Alec Davis; sister, Patty Moode. His funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 9, 2010 at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel with burial in Graham Cemetery. Daniel Berry is officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Arrangements under the direction of Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, 205-631-6252 in Gardendale, AL.
