James W. Nail of Gardendale, AL passed away on Sunday, August 27, 2017 at the age of 73. He was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather who was very much loved and will be greatly missed. Mr. Nail served his country proudly in the U.S. Army, was a longtime member of Sardis Baptist Church, and was retired from parts sales at Century Chevrolet in 1996. He was preceded in death by his wife, Febby Ann Harding Nail; parents, John and Lucille Nail, and his brother, John Gerry Nail. He is survived by his daughter, Karen Williams and her husband, Jason; two grandchildren, Lindsey Williams and Jonathan Williams; special friend and caregiver, Linda Williams; a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday evening, August 29th at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel from 6 until 8 PM followed by chapel services on Wednesday, beginning at 2 PM. Interment will be in Sardis Cemetery in Gardendale.
