

Janet, of Mt. Olive, AL, went home to be with the Lord at the age of 86. Life is a celebration of the beauty that God brings before us. Janet was an example of the beauty of God’s work. She was a devoted member of the First Baptist Church of Mount Olive and known for her singing voice which captivated the audience when she would sing. Her life is a beautiful testimony of love, happiness and faithfulness to Jesus Christ. Making friends wherever she went was just one of her many qualities. A beauty inside and out and she radiated every time she walked into a room.
Janet was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jack Harden; her twin brother, Charles Burrell; sister, Lahoma Bennett (LaVon); mother, Francis Cataldo. Her legacy will shine through the love she grew with her children, Chuck Harden (Cindy) and Debbie Hardiman. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Derek Hardiman, Donna Jones, Brittney Harden, and Shay Townes (Keith); 7 great grandchildren, Natalie and Nolan Hardiman, Lily Pointer and Luke Townes, Jackson Grayson and Bella Jones and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Services will be held at the First Baptist Church Mt. Olive with a visitation on Wednesday, Jan 18th, from 5:00pm until 8:00pm; funeral service on Thursday, Jan 19th, at 11:00am with her burial to follow in Mt. Olive Cemetery.
