Janet, a resident of Kimberly passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, May 29, 2015 at the age of 63. Janet graduated from Jones Valley High School and then from Wallace State School of Nursing and she had a fulfilling career as a RN.
Janet was preceded in death by her father, Billy Culwell Sr. and a brother, Jim Culwell. Janet is survived by her mother, Jean Culwell, her loving husband of 44 years, Wayne Myers; son, Chip Myers (Amanda); daughter, Kimberly Myers, brother, Billy Culwell Jr (Kathy Jo); sister, Vicki Culwell; grandchildren, Kendall Myers, Hudson Myers, Weston Myers, and Hadley Myers; 3 nephews; 2 nieces and a host of friends.
Service will be held at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel with a visitation on Sunday, May 31st from 6pm until 8pm and a funeral service on Monday, June 1st, at 1:00pm. Interment will be in High Rock Cemetery in Blount County, AL.
