Born in Gloucester, MA on May 27, 1982, he was the beloved son of Ann Maddix of Riverview FL, as well as Darrin Brown and his wife Alane of Seabrook, NH.
Jason enjoyed spending time with his family, friends, and especially his fiancé Tiffany White-Hernandez. Jason was an avid cook who liked to work with his hands, building and fixing things. He was very mechanically inclined and enjoyed figuring out how things worked.
Jason spent his childhood living in Gloucester, MA where he enjoyed the beaches, ocean front activities and festivals with his family. He then moved to Longmeadow, MA where he spent most of his teenage years. He then moved to Florida and worked in the hospitality industry working his way up to leadership roles as a cook and then chef. Eventually, Jason made his way to Alabama and became involved in construction and landscaping.
In addition to his parents, Jason leaves behind two sons, David and Parker, his sister Sariena Brown and her Husband Chris of Oakridge TN, his sister Miranda Gebron of Riverview FL, his sister Cassandra Gebron of Bradenton FL, His brother Derek Johnson and his Wife Cassie of Newmarket NH, and his sister Taylor Mercado and her husband Stephan of Lakeland FL. Jason is also survived by his Grandparents Carrellen Brown, Joseph Brown and Timothy Paxson, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Jason was predeceased by his Grandmother Louise Paxson, and his uncle Robert Maddix.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at11:00 AM at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Gloucester, MA
