Jerry, a resident of Leeds, AL, passed away at the age of 57. Jerry enjoyed camping and spending time with his family. He devoted much of his time to his grandchildren he loved so dear. Jerry was a kind man who took care of everyone.
Jerry was preceded in death by his mother, Elsie Short and he is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Linda Burroughs Short; son, Christopher Lee Short; daughter, Christina Short Stewart (Paul); grandchildren, Gage Stewart and Ali Stewart; brother, David Richard Short (Jan); sister, Vickie Burgett; other family members and friends.
Services will be held at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel, with a visitation on Sat, Feb 20, from 5pm until 7pm. Funeral service Sun, Feb 21, at 2pm followed by his burial in Oakwood Memorial Gardens.
