Jimmy Patterson

Jimmy L. Patterson, age 73 of Warrior, Al passed away on Monday, July 10, 2017. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather who was very much loved and will be greatly missed. Mr. Patterson was a Deacon of Smokerise Baptist Church and a longtime business owner. He also served his country proudly in the Air National Guard. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Syble Patterson; his daughters, Amy Boyd (Mike) and Teresa Hayes (Brian); and a son, Greg Patterson (Belinda); brother, Bob Patterson (Pam); sister, Judy Gardner; grandchildren, Andrew Patterson (Lindsay), Anthony Boyd, Matthew Patterson (Alesha), Samantha Boyd, Aaron Patterson, Autumn Patterson, Aedan Hayes, and McKenna Hayes; great grandchildren, Allie Patterson, Caylee Patterson, and Carlee Patterson.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 12th from 6 until 8 PM at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel. Chapel services will be Thursday beginning at 11 AM and interment will follow in Oakwood Memorial Gardens in Gardendale. Donations and memorials can be made to Smokerise Baptist Church/ Building Fund. Rev. Clyce Hurst will officiate services.
