John Wesley Brewer age 73 of Warrior, Al passed away on February 11, 2012, he is survived by his wife Janet Brewer; daughters, Lynn Lewis (Brian) and Susan Batchelor (John) brother, HenryBrewer(Sherry) grandchildren, Jake Lewis, Noah Lewis ,Chase and Trey Batchelor. Sister in law Barbara Bailey (Grant) and nephew Michael Bailey (Kim). He was preceded in death by his first wife Pat Brewer, parents Thomas Chris Brewer and MaryEthelBrewer,Brothers Luverne Brewer and Welford Brewer and Sister LaWanda Starr. Mr.Brewerwas a retire Professional Land Surveyor for the City of Birmingham after 30 years of service. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday February 15, 2012 at 11:00 am at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel with burial in Warrior City Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday evening form 5:00pm until 7:00 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to the National Kidney Foundation Finance at 30 east 33Street New York, New York 10016.
