John was a resident of Mt. Olive, AL and passed away Thursday at the age of 86. John was a member of Beechwood Baptist Church.
John was preceded in death by his loving wife of 64 years, Katie Fields and he is survived by his son Stanley Lee Fields; brothers, Pete, Ray and Terry Fields; a grandchild, Kristie Fields Magrath (Joshua); a great-grandson, Ian Atley Magrath, nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
A visitation will be held at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel on Friday, November 22nd, from 12:30pm until 2:30pm followed by a graveside service at Walkers Chapel Cemetery at 3:00pm.
