Johnny Cole Blakeney, age 2 of Gardendale, AL went to be with the Lord on April 4, 2018. Cole battled HIE for his short time with us. He always uplifted his family with his smile and his favorite place to be was the lap of his grandmother, Janice. Cole is now able to walk and play with his pawpaw, Ralph in heaven. Survivors include his mother, Stacey Blakeney, father, Michael Walls; grandmother, Janice Blakeney; great grandmother, Dorothy Blakeney; aunts, Paige Blakeney and Karen Beyke; family friend, Elizabeth Hester; special nurse and friend, Yolanda Partridge; many loving cousins and his fur brother, Rocco. A chapel service will be held Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel with burial to follow at Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12:30 until service time prior to the service. Bro. Tim Gann will be officiating. Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel entrusted with arrangements.
