Katie is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, John H. Fields, Jr.; son Stanley Lee Fields; brothers, Franklin D. Byrd and Thomas L. Byrd; grandchildren, Kristie Fields Magrath, Joshua Daniel Magrath; a great-grandson, Ian Atley Magrath, a neice, nephews and a host of friends.
A visitation will be held at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel on Friday, August 23rd, from 12:30pm until 2:30pm followed by a graveside service at Walkers Chapel Cemetery at 3:00pm.
