

Annie Louise Kirby Kicker, (87), died Wednesday after a long struggle with Alzheimer’s in Birmingham, Alabama. She was born at her parent’s Bessemer home on December 2, 1928 to Ernest and Annie Thompson Kirby. In 1946 she married Luther Kicker and remained his devoted wife until he died, just 3 months short of a their 50th Wedding Anniversary, in March of 1996. Louise retired from Parisian after 42 years, and was particularly known for her beautiful smile, lovely disposition and general cheerful outlook on life. She attended Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Gardendale, Alabama.
Louise is survived by her three children Linda Kicker, Colonel Ray Kicker and his spouse Tim Robertson, Doug and Lynn Taylor Kicker. Six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren: Cullen and Tabitha Kicker Pendleton, and their five children, Carys, Helen, Walker, Georgia, and Skyler. Tobias Kicker, Amy Kicker, Sergeant Will and Susan Kicker Moak, Adrienne Kicker and her daughter Livie Kicker, and Aaron Kicker.
Services will be on Friday, 18th of December at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel at 2pm with visitation one hour prior. Graveside services will be privately held at Highland Memorial Gardens in Bessemer Alabama.
