

Margaret was a member of Gardendale First Baptist Church. She loved to read, cook, and plant flowers in her garden. She loved her family dearly and cherished all the time she was able to spend with them.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Eileen Wampol; her loving husband of 40 years, Norman Eugene Chasteen; daughter, Mitzi Blacker; brothers, James Wampol and Frank Wampol; sister, Linda Ingram; and a grandson, Bobby Nichols.
Margaret is survived by three children, Michael Chasteen, Marlin Chasteen, and Melina Nichols and her husband Mikael Busk; grandchildren, Andera Blacker, Christopher Nichols, Elizabeth Nichols; great grandchildren, Hope, David, and Faith Morgan, Corey and Mathew Blacker; James Smith; Amara and Neveah Creel, Nathaniel and Natalie Nichols ; great-great grandchildren, Asher and Journey Blacker; several nieces, nephews and friends.
Services for Margaret will be held at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel with a time of visitation on Monday, September 28, 2020 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at 11:00 AM, followed by her burial at Oakwood Memorial Gardens, 2100 Moncrief Road, Gardendale, Alabama 35071.
