Born April 4, 1939, went home to be with the Lord on November 20, 2012. She was a member of Oak Grove Freewill Baptist Church. Marilyn is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Terry Fields; 2 sons: Terell Fields, Sr. (Vickie) and Jason Fields (Bobbie); daughter, Diane Blankenship; 4 grandchildren: Terell Fields, Jr., Cherish Rowe (Jimmy), Cody Fields, and Nick Fields (Kayla); great grandchild, Brooklynn Fields; brother, James Burr (Gail), and a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel on Friday, November 23, 2012 from 11:00 to 12:30 PM, with graveside services to follow at Oakwood Memorial Gardens, beginning at 1:00 PM.
