December 6, 1952 - February 5, 2015
Marsha went home to the Lord on February 5, 2015. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gary Marshall Steen and Elizabeth Campbell Steen as well as her son, Jacob Marshall Jones. She is survived by her loving family: Gregory Richard Jones, husband, and Jared Nathaniel Jones, son.
After graduation from W. B. Ray High School in Corpus Christi, Texas, Marsha joined the Social Security Administration in Birmingham where she held a variety of positions until her retirement in 2011. Marsha was a member of Gardendale First Baptist Church and she enjoyed trips to the beach, reading and being surrounded by her precious dogs. She was an excellent cook and loved to bake for her family and friends.
Services will be held Sunday, February 15, 2015 with a Memorial service at 3 p.m. The family will receive guests prior to the service beginning at 2:00pm.
