Mary Louise Green Gable

Mary Louise Green Gable of Gardendale, AL passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family and caregivers on February 13, 2023. She was born on July 31, 1938 to William B. and Mary Troulias Green. She was preceded in death by her husband, Winford McKinley Borden; her parents, William B. and Mary Troulias Green; her sisters, Billie Jean Barnes, Martha Ann Booth, Nora Elizabeth Giles, and her niece Larrissa Hudson. Louise is survived by her niece, MiChele East and husband Billy; her nephews Marian Booth and wife Libby, James Barnes and wife Nan; her great nieces BJ Cole and husband Tanner, and Kennedy; her great nephews John Michael, Matthew, and Grayson. She is survived by many cousins she loved including Sherry Maxwell and Deb Holliyan.

Louise was a devout Christian all her life and in recent years a member of Adamsville Church of God. Louise was deeply loved and will be missed by all her family and friends. Louise was a giving person and would not hesitate to help others.

The family will receive friends at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel on Friday, February 17th, 2023 from 10:00 to 11:00 am. A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 11:00 am. Burial will immediately follow at Moncrief Cemetery.
