Mary Sue Ingle

"Sue" was born in Hackleburg, Alabama and attended Hackleburg School. At the age of 15 she married Frank O. Ingle. They had 2 sons, Phillip and Jeff. She was a wonderful homemaker and housewife. She was known for her beautiful sewing skills, wonderful home cooked meals, and the gift of helping others; always busy, never idle, working quietly behind the scenes. She was a loving grandmother that enjoyed attending ball games and activities where the grandchildren, and great grandchildren were involved. She was a faithful member of West End Highlands Baptist Church, which ultimately became Smoke Rise Baptist Church, where she was a charter member. For the last 25 years she was a member of Blount Springs Baptist Church where she served in WMU and could always be found in the fellowship hall helping with meals and other acts of service. She loved her family and friends and we loved her. Her love for the Lord was evident by her actions and was the foundation of our family.

Sue is preceded in death by Husband Frank Odell Ingle; son Phillip Dale Ingle; father, Thomas Zimmaman; mother Belle Lacy Hudson; brothers, Auburn Royce Hudson, Ora Lee Hudson, Hubert Hudson, Thomas Elmon Hudson; sisters, Agnes Mae Lynn, Bernice Enola Gordon, Lillian Yancy, Ruby Dale Fredrick, Virginia Nell Southern, and Cynthia Franks.

She is survived by son, Jeff (Vickie) Ingle; granddaughters, Angela (Cori) Gohn, Jennifer (Bob) Weatherly, Holli (Jeremy) White; grandsons, Jeffery (Casie) Ingle Jr., Landon (Juliana) Ingle, great-grandchildren, Blake (Mallory) Gray, Jake Weatherly, Nate Weatherly, Carolina Gohn, Chase Gohn, Xzavion Espinoza, Madison Ingle, Isai Roberts, Todd white, Ellie Ingle, Emma Lynn White, Tripp Ingle, Elisha Ingle, Abram Ingle, Ezra Ingle, and Shiloh Ingle.

Services for Sue will be held on Friday, March 28, 2025 at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel with a time of visitation to begin at 2:00 PM; service at 3:00 PM, followed by her entombment in the Oakwood Memorial Gardens, Mausoleum, Gardendale, Alabama.
