Mary Naugher

October 19, 1948 – October 29, 2020

Mary was preceded in death by parents Charlie Morrison McGowen and Margaret Johnston McGowen.

Mary is survived by her husband of 51 years, James Terry Naugher. She leaves behind her daughters Jennifer (Brian) Ledlow, and Amy (Ian) Greenwood, four grandchildren, Margaret Greenwood, Logan Ledlow, Lilian Greenwood, Katie Claire Greenwood, siblings Carolyn McGowen Moore, David McGowen, Alfred McGowen, John McGowen, Audrey McGowen Peacock, and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and her dear friend Susan Crow.

Mary was a graduate of Tarrant High School and Jefferson State Community College School of Nursing. She was employed as a registered nurse at Medical Center East / St. Vincent’s East for her entire career spanning almost 50 years.

Mary was a past member of New Castle United Methodist Church and a current member of Gardendale Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, please send memorials to Gardendale Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church.

Services will be held at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel on Tuesday, November 3, 2020 with a time of visitation to begin at 10:00 AM; funeral service at 11:00 am, followed by her burial in Oakwood Memorial Gardens, Gardendale, AL.
