Mildred A Johnson

She was a faithful and loyal wife of 36 years to the late Steve Johnson. A loving mother to her three daughters, Teresia Mabry, Krystal Johnson, and Kellie Johnson. A grandmother to Lloyd Mabry. Sister-in-law to Wayne and Sonia Johnson. Aunt to Blair, Brody, and Brock Saucer.

Millie was preceded in death by her father, Lloyd Harris; mother, Peggy Harris; brother, Bo Harris; and niece, Jessica Harris.

Millie retired from Alabama Power after 41 years of serving in investment recovery. Millie was a master of quilting, a superb seamstress, and an avid crafter. She loved her family and loved her daughters fiercely, continuing to nurture them through their adult years. Millie loved watching her daughters play softball and enjoyed watching Auburn sports. She also loved her fur babies and took exceptional care of them.

A celebration of life visitation for Millie will be held Wednesday, April 29th, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and a celebration of life service will be held Thursday, April 30th, beginning at 2:00 p.m., both at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel, with Brother Randy Jasper officiating.

Millie will be laid to rest in Oakwood Memorial Gardens, 2100 Moncrief Road, Gardendale, Alabama 35071.
