Nancy D. Haywood (Johnston), 75, passed away peacefully on June 16, 2024. Beloved wife of the late Edward “Ted” Emerson Haywood Jr. Loving mother of Greg Doss (Amy), Cindy Harris (Bobby), Christina Haywood (Laura), and Candice Haywood (Chase Daniel). Loving grandmother of Kayla Harris (Nick Hightower), Luke Taylor, Mackenzie Sharpe (Stephen), Jacob Taylor, Tyler Doss (Shelly), Benjamin Harris, Levi Daniel, and Fisher Daniel. Dear great grandmother of Jonathan, Keegan, Kolbie, Sophia, Lily, Sam, and Elliot.
A visitation for Nancy will be held Friday, June 21, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, AL 35071, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM.
Nancy will be laid to rest in Oakwood Memorial Gardens, 2100 Moncrief Road, Gardendale, AL 35071-2374.
