Patricia Bates Reese of Gardendale passed away Saturday, July 9, 2011. She was a member of Gardendale First Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughter, Stephanie Bates; step daughter, Amber Reese; grandchild, Baylie Ghcoleman; parents: Audie and Dee Hammond; sister, Lynn Howell; nephews: Roger Watrous (Leslie) and Ryan Watrous. Her funeral service will be held at 12 noon Wednesday, July 13, 2011 at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel with burial in Oakwood Memorial Gardens.
