Paul a resident of Warrior, AL, grew up in the Central Park area of Birmingham and graduated from Central Park Christian School. He worked as a security guard and he was a member of Church International in Warrior, Al.
Paul is survived by his loving wife of 10 years, Patricia Phillips; parents, Janice Griffin Phillips and Billy Phillips (Sue); brothers, Keith L. Phillips (Wanda), David W. Phillips; sister, Cynthia Phillips; step brothers, Charlie and David Giambrone; nieces, Yanna Williams, Kalynn Smith, Amber Roper, Amy Phillips and Sara Phillips; nephews, Daniel Roper and Sam Phillips and a host of friends.
A funeral service will be held Sunday, Feb 2, at 2:00 pm with a visitation to begin at 12:30 pm Sunday. Interment will follow in the Oakwood Memorial Gardens.
