Paula Hubbard Moore, 77, Fultondale, Alabama, peacefully departed this earthly life to be with the Lord, entering her eternal home in Heaven on April 5, 2026. She embodied the virtues of Proverbs 31:10–31—a woman of noble character whose worth was far above rubies.
Paula shared wisdom, unconditional love, and nurturing leadership, and she possessed a true servant’s heart, which she faithfully used in service to others.
She was the heart that connected our family. Her children and grandchildren rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her. Affectionately known as “Nanny” by all who knew and loved her, Paula found great joy in caring for her family and others.
Nanny dedicated much of her life to serving others through her work in the medical field in Birmingham, Alabama. She was born in Oneonta, Alabama, and spent the greater part of her life in Fultondale, Alabama.
Paula is survived by her devoted husband, Ralph, with whom she shared 58 wonderful years of marriage. Together, they raised two children in a loving Christian home.
