Ralph Donald (Donnie) Collins, Jr., born January 9, 1954 passed away Friday, July 15, 2011. Donnie attended Northside Baptist Church, graduated from Tarrant High School 1972, and worked as a meat cutter for Winn – Dixie for 29 years. He was an avid Alabama Fan. His grandparents, Julian A. and Sadie B. Collins and brother William Greg Collins preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife, Cindy; parents: Ralph Don and Mary B. Collins; brothers: Mike (Donna) and Terry (Deanna) Collins; sister-in-law, Leigh Ann Collins; nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews; a large extended family and a host of friends. His funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 18, 2011 at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel with burial in Oakwood Memorial Gardens. Rev. Allen Davis is officiating.
