Robert Lee Morse

Robert Lee Morse of Fultondale, Alabama, passed away at the age of 63 on October 11, 2016. He was born in Washington to Ralph James Morse and Anita Jean Logan in 1953. He was the middle sibling of three. He dedicated his life serving the military as a helicopter technician, and continued serving his country as an aviation maintenance technician on both fixed and rotary wing aircraft. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend. He was preceded in death by his wife of 31 years, Jean Netheray Blocker Morse. He is survived by his son Ralph James Morse II; his daughters Sally Morse Kersh (Stephen), Gloria Jean Bennett Boswell (Eric), Delores Verona Bennett Petite (Angelo); father, Ralph James Morse; brother, James Morse; sister, Debbie Swanson; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Friday, October 21, 2016, from 09:00 – 10:00 with a service to follow at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel, 2029 Decatur Hwy, Gardendale, Alabama, 35071. There will be a U.S. Military Funeral Honors held at the Alabama National Cemetery, 3133 Highway 119, Montevallo, AL 35115 at 2:00.
