Robert Wesley Richardson

Robert, a resident of Warrior, AL, passed away at the age of 69. Robert was born in Atlanta, TX, and he proudly served our nation in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He retired from the Bellsouth Communications in 1997 after 26 years of service. He was a Past Master Mason in the Grand Lodge of Louisiana F. & A.M., Cypress Lodge No. 89, in Benton, LA.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Henry Richardson and Nora Faye Richardson; sisters, Estelle Pate and Jo Allen.

Robert is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Deborah Richardson; sons, John Richardson (Kelly) and James Richardson (Anita); a brother, Jerry Richardson (Cheryl); a sister, Ruth Ann Taffi (Ron); grandchildren; Samantha Richardson Tabitha Richardson, Dylan Richardson, Ashley Richardson, Blake Ashcraft, and James Ashcraft; former daughter-in-law, Shannon Richardson; many other family members and friends.

Services will be held at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel with a visitation on Sunday, April 24th, 2016 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm; a funeral service on Monday, April 25th, 2016 at 11:00am, followed by his burial at Liberty Minter Cemetery in Morris, AL.

Pallbearers for Robert will be; Payton Marlowe, Tanner Baird, Dylan Richardson, Michael Mayes, Blake Ashcraft, Kevin Justice and James Ashcraft.
