Samuel Woodrow Mann (Woody) 89, of Warrior, Alabama went to be with the Lord on Jan 26, 2017. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 49 years, Doris Nell Suddeth Mann; his son, Frankie Allen Mann and five sisters. He is survived by his daughter, Deborah Day (Michael Day); grandchildren, Vanessa Turley (Josh Turley), Kristen Day (Corey Boley); great grandchildren, Candace Turley, Kynleigh Boley; brother, Carl Mann of Morris and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. He was a retired millwright at US Pipe and Foundry in Birmingham. He loved fishing and quail hunting. He also loved his chewing tobacco, football games, and his grand babies.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, Jan 28th, at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel from 5:00pm until 8:00pm with a graveside service on Sunday, Jan 29th, at the Liberty Minter Cemetery at 1:00pm.
