Sarah "Betty" Cotton

Sarah was preceded in death by her husband Billy R. Cotton; parents Marion and Mollie Bice; siblings Howard, Truman, Wallace, and Junior; and son-in-law Billy Ray Horton. She is survived by her sister Dot Quick; children Rhonda (Micky) Rock; Jeffrey (Tonya) Cotton; Sharon (Jenerral) Ambrose; grandchildren Shane Barnett; Joshua Horton; Jared (Sara Claire) Horton; Jonathan (Dakota) Rock; Micah (Alainie) Cotton; Analyssa (Ryals) Sinquefield; and Garreth (Kaylee) Cotton; great-grandchildren Nick, Nate, Eric, Eliza, Lilah, Emersynn, Rylee, Bram, Dawsie, Adyline, Hayden, Lilly, and Bryson; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and her most loyal K9 companion, Rascal.

Sarah was a resident of Fultondale for nearly 50 years and was a member of the former Fulton Springs Baptist Church. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and Nanny.

Services for Sarah will be held Sunday, October 16, 2022 at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, AL. A time of visitation will begin at 1:00 PM and a funeral service at 2:00 PM. Bro. Gary Creel officiating.

Sarah will be laid to rest in Sunrise memorial Gardens, 4386 Buzbee Road, Pinson, AL, following the service.
