Sarah Williams

Aline (Sally) Williams, age 83, of Florence, Alabama passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 8, 2020. Sarah was born April 9, 1937. Mrs. Williams was a daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her father , mother, stepfather,, brother, sister and infant sister.

She is survived by her husband of 67 years Mr. T.J. Williams Jr., her daughter Elizabeth Shattuck (Clint), her son T.J. Williams III , her grandchildren include Anna Thornton (Dave), Joseph Shattuck, Bradley Williams, and Paige Williams. Her great grandchildren are Lilly Thornton and Cecilia Thornton. Mrs. Williams was a longtime resident of Gardendale and a member of the United Methodist Church since childhood. She was laid to rest at Oakwood Memorial Gardens in a private ceremony attended by her immediate family. The family suggest that any expression of sympathy be made in the form of a donation to the St. Jude's Children's hospital or a charity of choice.
