September 22, 1921 – September 14, 2015
Shirley a resident of Gardendale, AL, went home to be with the Lord at the age of 93. She was a lifelong member of Gardendale Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Sidney and Clara Mae Flowers; her loving husband, Howard Robinson; daughter, Sidney Burbage; brothers, Earl Flowers and James Flowers; and a sister, Grace Meadow.
Shirley is survived by her son Larry Robinson (Linda); grandchildren, Tracy Robinson, Lyn Burbage Rivera and George Burbage; great grandchildren, Stevan, Aydah and Elijah; many extended family members and a host of friends.
Visitation, Wednesday, Sept 16th, from 6pm until 8pm at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel. Funeral service, Thursday, Sept 17th, at 1:00 pm at Gardendale Mt. Vernon Methodist Church with a private entombment to follow.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her honor to Gardendale Mt. Vernon Methodist Church.
