Terry R. Fields

Terry R. Fields, age 81, of Gardendale, Alabama passed away on Monday February 3, 2020. Terry was born February 7, 1938. Terry was preceded in death by his wife Pat Fields, his parents Lillie and John Henry Fields, his brothers John Fields and Ray Fields, his sister Margie Hallmark and a great granddaughter Cadence Grace Rowe. He is survived by his brother James "Pete" Fields, his children Terell (Vickie) Fields, Diane Blankenship, and Jason (Bobbie) Fields, his grandchildren and great grandchildren include Terell Jr., Cherish (Jimmy) Rowe, Cody, Nick (Kelsey), Brooklynn, Kloey, Paxton, Parker, Ryker, and Jaxson. Terry was a mason and legionnaire. He enjoyed racing and all sports...especially Alabama football. He round track raced in his younger days. He enjoyed grilling in the summer with family and friends. Most of all he loved his family. He will truly be missed !

A celebration of life visitation for Terry will be held Thursday, February 6, 2020 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, AL 35071. A celebration of life service will occur Thursday, February 6, 2020 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, AL 35071. Rev. Rick Andrews and Rev. Todd Burr will officiate the service. A burial will follow at Oakwood Memorial Gardens, 2100 Moncrief Road, Gardendale, Alabama 35071.
