

Born on September 19, 1973, to William E. and Mary Ann Smith, Tracy was a lifelong resident of Fultondale, Alabama. She attended Fultondale Elementary School and graduated from Gardendale High School, remaining deeply connected to her community throughout her life.
Tracy was a dedicated employee of the Fultondale CVS Pharmacy, where she worked faithfully for 18 years until her health no longer allowed her to continue. She was a former member of Fellowship Baptist Church and a devoted member of East Gardendale Baptist Church, where she cherished her church family and served with a faithful heart.
Creative and full of personality, Tracy enjoyed crafting, bargain hunting, yard sales, thrift stores, online shopping, and playing games on her phone. She was an active member of The North Arts Council and took great joy in participating in the annual craft shows. Her love of music spanned many styles, reflecting her vibrant spirit.
Tracy is preceded in death by her father, William Eugene (Gene) Smith; grandparents William Hubert and Elvie Mae Smith, and Robert O. Sr. and Goldie Marie Head; aunts Carolyn Dismukes and Thelma White; uncles Robert O. (Bobby) Head Jr., Johnny Smith, and Wayne White; and niece Katelyn Smith Adams.
She is survived by her mother Mary Ann Head Smith; sister Cheryl Smith Freeman (Steve); brother Steven Eugene Smith (Kim); aunt Sandra Smith; uncle Louis Dismukes; nieces Chelsey and Brittany (Brodie); nephews Nate and Josh; several cousins; and her beloved cat, Joy Noel.
Her family finds comfort in knowing that Tracy is now in the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, restored to perfect health, and that they will one day be reunited with her.
Tracy’s life will be celebrated at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, 2029 Decatur Hwy, Gardendale, Alabama 35071, with visitation on April 9, 2026, beginning at 1:00 pm, followed by A Celebration of Life on April 9, 2026, beginning at 2:00 pm.
