William A. Poe, a resident of Kimberly, Alabama was born in Wylam, Alabama on July 15, 1940 and he passed away on January 5, 2018 at the age of 77. William was a member of Grace Point at Mt. Olive, United Methodist Church. He enjoyed Fishing, NASCAR, and Alabama Football. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, and he cherished the time he was able to spend with his family.
William was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Mary Poe.
William is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Peggy Poe; two sons, Thomas Poe and Mark Poe (Barbara); his daughter, Debbie Poe (Johnny); one sister, Ruby LaBorde (Raymond); eleven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren and a host of friends and family. Special thanks to Jennifer, Christine, and Brenda of Hope Hospice for your loving care and support.
Services will be held at Grace Point at Mt. Olive UMC, with a visitation on Saturday, Jan 6, 2018 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm. Funeral service at Grace Point Sunday, Jan 7, 2018 at 12:30 followed by his burial in Oakwood Memorial Gardens, Gardendale, AL.
