Bobbie Lou (Hausenfluck) Lambert

She married John W. Lambert on June 29, 1946, at the Georgetown Church of Christ and they celebrated 73 years of marriage.

Surviving husband, John and 4 children, Kay, Cynthia, Melissa and John Jr. There are 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Bobbie worked briefly at Kress & Company, in downtown Austin, also worked at Montgomery Ward as Department Manager of the children's department for many years.

She and Daddy traveled all over the United States, attending Blue Grass Gospel Concerts.

She loved sewing and making arts and crafts. She would paint John’s bird houses and other craft projects that he made in his workshop.

In the past few years, she struggled with back and knee problems and was diagnosed with Parkinsons in 2018.

Celebration of life visitation, Sunday, Sept. 22, 2019, from 1pm to 3pm at The Gabriels Funeral Chapel and Crematory in Georgetown.

Graveside Service Monday, Sept. 23, 2019, at 10 am at the Berry Creek Cemetery Georgetown.
