Cassie Lynn Miller, born on June 1, 1992, in Austin, Texas, passed away at the age of 31, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of those who knew her. She was the daughter of Yvette Leon and Harold Miller and a proud graduate of Lanier High School.
Cassie is survived by her mother, Yvette Leon, and her siblings: brother David Hernandez and his wife Nina, sisters Chelsea Williams and her husband James, and Candice Osmeyer and her husband David. She also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews, along with her grandparents, Bill and Jeanette Leon.
Cassie's most cherished role was that of a mother to her four beautiful children: Nevaeh, Elise, Ezra, and Amelia. They are one of her greatest accomplishments.
Though Cassie faced numerous challenges during her brief time with us, her tenacity and resilience were unwavering. She was a hardworking, free-spirited individual who always extended a helping hand to those in need. Her kindness, generosity, and caring nature left an indelible impact on all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Cassie taught herself to speak fluent Spanish and fearlessly acquired the skills necessary to tackle any task that came her way. Her versatility was unmatched, whether she was working as a mechanic on her own car, serving as a waitress, handling landscaping projects, laying flooring, caring for nursing home residents, or at fast-food establishments.
Her memory will forever shine brightly in our hearts. May her spirit find eternal peace in the embrace of the divine. The world is a little less bright today. May God embrace her beautiful spirit, let her rest in peace. She will be loved and missed always.
