Catherine Marie Vrazel

Rosary will be held at 9:30am on Friday, May 22, 2026, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church of Corn Hill, followed by the Funeral Mass at 10:00am with Father Stephen Nesrsta officiating. Burial will be at Holy Trinity Catholic Church Cemetery.

Cathy was born in Plymouth, Indiana to Mary and James Ziegler on January 5, 1948. She attended St. Patrick’s Catholic School, Grovertown High School in Indiana; graduated from Georgetown High School. She married Vincent Vrazel on October 6, 1973, in Holy Trinity Catholic Church of Corn Hill. Over the years she worked at various companies building circuit boards until her retirement.

She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, KJZT, Catholic Life. Her interests and hobbies were gemstones, jewelry, jewelry making, sewing, painting, and reading. She enjoyed researching her German heritage, learning the language, dancing at the Walburg Biergarten. She loved getting together monthly for “Girls Night” with her sisters.

Cathy is proceeded in death by her parents, James and Mary Ziegler and brother Raymond Ziegler.

Cathy is survived by her husband Vincent Vrazel; siblings, Virginia Newberry and husband Roy of Sun Valley, Nevada, Barbara Danek, Edward Ziegler and wife Patricia, Anthony Ziegler and wife Nancy, all of Jarrell, William Ziegler and wife Annie, Lucy Lamer and husband Joe of Bangs, Jane Danek and husband Raymond, Julia Navarrette and husband Norbert, Tom Ziegler, Vincent Ziegler and wife Karen all of Georgetown, Theresa Lykins and husband Perry of May, John Ziegler and wife Gloria of Del Rio and Margaret Howard and husband Roy of Round Rock; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and loving families and friends.

Memorials may be given to Holy Trinity Catholic Church or Holy Trinity Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be nephews Jerry Danek, Dennis Danek, Bradley Danek, Anton Lamer, Michael Ziegler and Andrew Ziegler.
