Deborah Sue Green, 58, of Georgetown passed away, Sunday, April 13, 2014. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held on Thursday, April 17, 2014 at 7pm at The Gabriels Funeral Chapel, 393 North IH 35, Georgetown, Texas with Rev. John Warden officiating. Deborah was born on August 5, 1955 in Brookhaven, Mississippi to John and Bonnie Geter. After graduating from high school in Danville, Indiana, she attended college at IUPUI in Indianapolis, Indiana. She married Mike Green in January 1979, to whom she was married for 18 years until his passing in 1997. In 2004, she had the good fortune of meeting Gary Parker, who shared the joys of life together with her for 10 years. In her spare time she enjoyed camping and the beach, antiques, collecting folk art, and gardening and was a talented seamstress. She was especially known, however for her collection of dolls and her ability to both make and restore antique dolls with perfection, but above all she will always be known as being devoted to her family. Deborah was preceded in death by her husband, and her brother, John Geter, Jr. She leaves behind to cherish her memory: her parents; son, James Green; daughter, Laura Green; spouse, Gary Parker; brothers: Frank, Leo and Kenneth Geter, and numerous other loving family and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the ICU at St. David's Georgetown Hospital.
